![]() If you are going to share files with people who are using Office Document Imaging 2002, or another document imaging program, save your files in TIFF format for compatibility. It supports TIFF format as its own proprietary formate called MDI. MODI enables users to edit and annotate documents scanned by Microsoft Office Document Scanning. These mdi files are only supported by the Microsoft Office XP, 20 (NOT supported in Office 2010 and higher) of Microsoft Office Document Imaging (also known as MODI). ![]() The mdi file extension is used for a high resolution, tag-based graphics format that was used in some previous versions of Microsoft Office. ![]()
